For those new to Vancouver Island, Bowser is about 45 minutes south of Courtenay and the Comox Valley and is also about 30 minutes north of Nanaimo.
I stand amazed at the commonality of each location that I visit with my bag of pickleball paddles. Enthusiasm and fun come to mind the most. Some of the games were very vigorous even amongst the new players and very entertaining.
There are normally two courts set up and if sufficient numbers attend then a third can be put in place. This last area is an effective space for introducing new players to the rules or for practicing a particular shot.
The social aspect is strong in Bowser as being such a small community, it gives you an opportunity to meet local people and chat with friends.
I hope you get to enjoy playing pickleball in Bowser BC as much as I did and am looking forward to getting back there again soon.
